On November 30, 2011, Judith Hull sponsored a welcoming reception for London city officials including Jay Stanford, Councillor Paul Hubert, and Councillor Judy Bryant, supporters and SHARE THE ROAD organizers at the offices of Judith Hull & Associates, located at 620 Richmond St., London. With classical music provided by Johann Kinting, guests were treated to an evening of wine tasting and hors d'ouevres catered by The Sticky Pudding. The evening was provided as a welcome reception to all the visitors from various cities here to attend the London Summit being held the following day at the London Convention Centre. Among the many visitors was Amy Ryberg Coyle, a Councillor for Greenville, South Carolina. Amy was the keynote speaker at the Summit as Greenville is a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Community.

Share the Road Board member Judith Hull and Share the Road President and Founder Eleanor McMahon were invited to the U.K. from November 20-24, 2011 to study active British cycling initiatives through Cycling England and their Bikeability program. Bikeability is 'cycling proficiency' for the 21st century, designed to give the next generation the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today's roads. Judith and Eleanor got to see Bikeability programs in action at the Histon & Impington Junior School in Cambridge. The exciting and hectic week culminated in an all-stakeholders meeting at the House of Commmons in London on November 24, 2011, chaired by Phillip Darnton of Cycling England. Judith and Eleanor are excited to bring many of these ideas and initiatives to Ontario.
